North Western Fells, Lake District

A fantastic mountain day - 17 km and 1,450m of ascent (and descent).
We started at Braithwaite, and followed the hugely undulating ridge line around the Coledale valley, taking in Barrow, Sail, Crag Hill, Grasmoor, Sand Hill, Hopegill Head, Hobcarton Crag and Grisedale Pike. The highlight was the summit of Grasmoor looking down on Crummock Water far, far below
