2-day expedition across the Coniston Fells.

ROUTE

Coniston, Miners Bridge, Boulder Valley, Levers Water, Brim Fell Rake,  Old Man of Coniston, Goat's Hause, Goat's Water and Blind Tarn. Brown Pike, Buck Pike, Dow Crag, Goat's Hause, Black Crag, Levers Hause, Swirl How, Prison Band, Levers Water and the Coppermines Valley.

The weather on Saturday was pretty grim - persistent rain, with some heavy downpours and a very heavy hailstorm as we reached the summit of the Old Man. The paths becamse streams and the streams were in spate.
