A wonderful weekend of fell walks, philosophy walks, drystone walling, history walks and map reading courses, with a quiz and supper night on Saturday evening at Wensleydale Creamery.

Wild Camping Mountain Expedition Snowdonia
August Bank Holiday weekend 2013
What a fantastic weekend - sunshine, no rain, great views and only met half a dozen other people over the two days as we walked across the Moelwyns, whilst thousands were queuing up Snowdon!

That was until we reached the top of Cnicht on Sunday morning as it was the Croesor/Cnicht Fell Race!

Yorkshire Three Peaks
Sunday 1st September 2013

13 participants took part, who raised money for various charities.

Three Peak Walkers were: James, Peter, Bob, Geoff, Jo, Dawn, Martin, David, Scott, Glen, Georgina and Ken. Guided by Mark Reid and Graeme Tiffany.

Set off at 7:25am at Ribblehead, and finished at 7:25pm! Climbed Whernside first, then Ingleborough and finally Pen-y-ghent.

50 mph winds on Pen-y-Ghent and low cloud on all three summits - typical walking weather in the Dales!

WELL DONE EVERYONE - the Yorkshire Three Peaks is certainly a challenge walk!
